On this day:

It's LIVE!

We've been away and back. Holiday at the Gold Coast was great! But more on that later when I can upload the photos.

Today I am off to Atomic Live 2007 which isn't something I'd go to under normal circumstances but this is work... well, work-related. I used to work full time on Atomic Maximum Power Computing magazine and website but since moving to our business title, CRN Australia, my association with Atomic has been increasingly diminishing. The last gig that required my full time involvement was the conceptualisation and successful completion (whew!) of the Atomic Gigabyte Overclocking Masters. Here is a video for anyone intrigued. And below is a photo taken at Minus 5 Bar after the grand finals wrapped up.

So, back to Atomic Live. I was delighted to find out that I wasn't rostered to work on this biggest, much anticipated event by Atomicans, for Atomicans. I, with husband and daugther, will turn up for moral support... oh and yes, for the bouncy castles and freebies too. I find Cerise and Edwin attract special attention from exhibitors (our clients) which results to more freebies! Although I won't be surprised if I end up working anyway.... helping out, doing errands and catching up with clients. We will miss the free brekky though which I assume is being served as I post this. With over 1000 registrations, I reckon the first 200 geeky gamers and PC builders who are entitled to get the free breakfast must have been at the doorstep at the crack of dawn.
I better get going then and brace myself for the sights and sounds of high-end PC games, motherboards and chips, overclocking and PC speed building... as if I totally get it!
