flew up to down under
Sydney, the vibrant city of Australia, is an old acquaintance of mine. First, there was the attempt to make it our base in 1999. Then a short holiday in 2001 and another two years later. Seven years after I first touched down here, I am now back for a two week cath up. I arrived here 3 days ago and I'm just loving the weather! It is winter but it feels more like spring to me (coming from New Zealand, one would). I'm not here for a holiday though... and this I remind myself when the temptations of fashion boutiques call. It's all business this time. I'm finding out what it has to offer and perhaps this could just be the right time to come back and settle here for good. In the last three months, I went from embracing my respite to identifying my options and finally to figuring out my priorities. It's become clear to me that I NEED a baby soon; that I WILL have to take my MBA next year; that I CAN put up my own little business; that I DO WANT to work again... ideally securing a contractual job in New Zealand or if God wills it that we move to Sydney, then it will have to be a full time permanent job. Obviously, everything is in limbo but that's okay because I know I am doing what is necessary in order to come up with a more concrete plan. We're getting there. As to where it leads me, it's all in God's hands. I refuse to analyze things too much and come up with logical explanations. I live each day like I'm a blind being led by the hand. As to when the great big plan will be unveiled, I leave that with God too. All I ask is for Him to speak to me, to my heart so that I may have discernment. Indeed, I don't know where I'm going but I'm on my way.

You will find that the path will clear itself for you. You just have to open your eyes and know what it is that you want.
